I found an interesting thing in the ATP rankings.
The points for the 104th place is reaching a peak about 6 weeks before GS main draw (the date the decided who gets in directly.
The Data is from 2000 to 2008.
As you can see, it is especially seen before the US Open and even more the Australian Open (at the end of the year). I guess it mean players look at their rankings after all...
